believe it or not, i've been working in Microbial Developments Ltd for 2 days already!

it's been better than i've expected - at first i thought all ploy and i could do will be to compare the labels on the sachets of Aviguard - which is their healthy product for poultry, lol... but it turns out that we could actually do some lab work! FANTASTIC! we've also looked at lab fermenters and real BIG fermenters (which produce smelly gases) and did quite a lot of microbio engineering... like growing bacteria, diluting the into different concentrations etc... so gald that it was actually some solid, hands-on experience... bet that shud be rare... shud be reli thankful* X)

ppl at MDL were very friendly as well... our supervisor is very humorous as well. :p hope to do more in the next few days...

been raining like hell juz now... thunder + lightning... hope it won't be stormy tmr... after all i gotta walk for 15 minutes from the malvern link station to reach that place!

we've had a thunderstorm last night, and it's still raining right now. it's so bad cuz firstly, rita is leaving today so she'd be in big trouble carrying the luggages up and down in the rain, and secondly, ploy n i were gonna go to Malvern Link - walk there (30 minutes!!) and take the train back, to be precise - to go to the work experience place, just to make sure where it is and we wouldn't get lost on Monday. is on MONDAY, can u believe it? i'm actually quite scared... +.+ the previous days have been so hot tho, so i guess rain kinda helps to cool us down a bit, in a way... we reckon that it's some kinda depression, and we're experiencing the bit after the cold front. WHOA geography. i've just chucked all my notes away!

and happy birthday to Ploy and Pear today... finally turning 16... while i've just turned 17 and 4 months... what the heck...-.-"

it's so freaky that some who go into Cambridge got 15 A*s in GCSEs n 7 As in AL... ughhh... really really scares me. i begin to think about a lot of "what if"s these days... it's bugging me at night.

dun worry if u dunno what i mean. basically i'm just worrying about the past exams, which is incredibly stupid cuz i still got the future ones to worry about.

i kept on thinking that i've got a lotta time ahead of me before my next exam... =.="

kinda wasted a whole weekend. i suppose i can't say 'waste', actually, cuz i got to do a bit of "socialising", lol* i was literally sitting in the dining room chatting to ppl, and how rare is that!! and got up at 3 am on sunday to see the sunrise, depite sun's already up when we got up to the beacon, which kinda sucked.

really gotta do some revision now... got 5 subjects this week to look foward to, and the big subjects are at the end of this week - chem and econ. main concern is on econ, which i haven't touched since half-term. kinda worries me now.

but i can't wait till weekend... by then i'd only have 1 1/2 subjects left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feeling a bit weird right now...

seems that for the past week i've been finding excuses not to revise... is this Summie Yeung? what am i now, over-confident?!

i really dunno how i did in english honestly... the unseen poem was alright, but the analytical writing was dot dot dot... bad. didn't use any rhetorical device or any "interesting phrasing"... it was just plain messed-up points... sigh...

suen la... can't help it now anywayz... think that was a * gone... =.="

perhaps i was hoping for too much.

and next week... 5 exams ahead! haven't started detailed revision on any... kept thinking that i still got a whole weekend ahead of me, and monday. (hmm, that's true actually)

besides this i was utterly embarrassed when i greeted the senior citz ppl just now when we were supposed to greet guests coming to the open morning. bloody hell.

i'm not even capable to say "good morning" and sustain a conversation. ugh i suck. why on earth am i a prefect anyway?... i seriously think that i'm incapable of these jobs. becoming more and more anti-social. sei duc.

guess what i spent the whole afternoon + evening yesterday doing nothin!

wakaka... feels like the end of term... can't believe i'm having two exams tomorrow...

i feel like a hippie, lol... we've been in the garden playing badminton, eating, buying ice-cream downtown, making pudding, chatting, doodling. cool isn't it? exam periods are relaxing.

the past three days were supposed to be my toughest days in these three weeks, when 5 of my most dreade exams are crammed into 2 and a half days consecutively. but i haven't really felt the pressure. not that much anyway... i feel scared before exams, especially before i sleep cuz i can hear my heart pounding, but once i've started the paper, i cannot feel how my brain actually functioned. how weird.

perhaps that's how we're supposed to feel?! lolz*

well, now i can tell you that maths and english were both ok. maths was... erm, harder than i've expected. and especially when u see ppl crying after the exam, u notice how scary a mathematics non-calculator paper can get. i literally try to close the paper in the last 5 minutes, cuz i know if i spotted a mistake then i wouldn't have time to change it, resulting in a massive blow in my head for the rest of the day. or rest of the week.

like biology... it's been bugging me, some of the questions. i DO NOT want to think about them, but the words like "resistant bacteria" just kept on popping into my brain. how sad.

i feel a bit hyper, really, i do. i can't stop typing... i've already typed some emails and stuff, but somehow i wanna type more and more. see what an english paper have done to me.

ok i better stop or no one in the right mind will continue reading this entry. (but hey perhaps no one reads it anyway :p)

half-term is over. i've spent most of the time with Big Brother and food. lol* yep, u can see what angie and i have been doing in the half-term. apart from the fact that i've been listening to my Haydn over and over and over again. i swear i haven't ever heard a song continuously for so many times.

i've kinda stopped revision. oops.

i know this sounds weird, but i can't wait to be quarantined. cuz by the time i'm quarantined i would have FINISHED my biology exam. my most dreaded exam of all!!! REJOICE!!! unless i lack the motivation to finish the paper tomorrow, and get mind blanks or partial blindness when i do my paper tomorrow. kinda like what i did in mocks. i'm glad i've revised my syllabus quite thoroughly. at least more thorough than before the mocks, i suppose.

uggggghhhhh i'm scared.
